Three-Step Water Filters vs. Five-Step Water Filters

Three-Step Water Filters vs. Five-Step Water Filters

What's in a number?

It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that more is better, but it’s not always true. For example, some sparkling water systems tout their five-step filtration process, when Natura’s three-step system is just as effective—in two fewer steps.

Why should this matter to you? Cost. Eventually filters need replacing. Will you want to pay for five new filters or just three?

Filtered water machines have an important job. They must shield against the following: sediment, chlorine, cysts, viruses, and bacteria.

Natura water machine filters do that and more. Here are the steps water goes through to be worthy of the Natura name:

  • The first of two high-grade, long-lasting carbon filters removes particulates, using a 5-micron spun polypropylene sediment filter to trap large particles, sediment, dirt, and salt.
  • Next, a 0.5-micron high-flow carbon filter reduces chlorine, surfactants, nitrates, and active carbon chemical contaminants. This filter is certified to NSF 53 for the reduction of cryptosporidium, giardia, and other cysts.
  • Third, water flows through the world’s only total irradiation filtration system that reduces the bacteria and virus count to almost zero, including the elimination of E. coli and coliform bacteria that are so harmful to pregnant women and young children. Derived from NASA technology, this filter uses electropositive attraction to reduce bacteria, viruses, chemicals, and soluble organics. That’s right, NASA. Your filter won’t have been to outer space, but one nearly like it most certainly has.

Our restaurant water filtration removes or significantly reduces contaminants including heavy metals and pesticides and chemical impurities such as mercury, lead, and arsenic. The Natura system also almost eliminates chlorine and its compounds, which are responsible for the poor taste and smell associated with tap water. The result is endotoxin removal greater than 99.96%. Our smart filtration process does all of this while retaining valuable minerals like calcium, zinc, and magnesium.

After this thorough filtration, Natura’s unique refrigeration and carbonation system dispenses chilled still and sparkling water at a constant temperature and dial-a-bubble effervescence intensity.

Those “five-step” guys? They also reduce sediment, chlorine, odors, bacteria, and viruses. And at replacement time, you’re going to pay for 40% more filters (five instead of three) with no significant difference in filtration protection.

When you’re in the market for a water filtration system, remember “Three is for me!” Curious about getting your own Natura Water System? Get more information here.
