The D5U serves chilled still, chilled sparkling, and ambient water through a separate three-tap tower, with a recommended system output of 80 L/hr. The 36–40°F temperature range applies only to the chilled options; ambient water is served without chilling.
How is the D5U different from the B5U?
Both are undercounter systems with separate tap towers. The D5U offers 80 L/hr. recommended system output and includes chilled still, chilled sparkling, and ambient water through three taps. The B5U is the 35 L/hr. option with two taps for chilled still and chilled sparkling water.
How is the D5U different from the D5?
Both offer 80 L/hr. recommended system output and all three water options. The D5 is an all-in-one countertop system. The D5U separates the dispensing tower from the main unit, which is installed beneath the counter.
Can the D5U go inside a cabinet?
The D5U is designed for undercounter installation, but the cabinet must provide the specified ventilation, clearances, and service access. Allow space for the upright filter assembly and CO₂ supply, too. Confirm the complete layout with Natura before finalizing cabinetry.
What needs to be ready before installation?
You’ll need suitable water and electrical supplies, food-grade CO₂, space for the unit and filter assembly, and a prepared opening for the three-tap tower. Review the undercounter pre-installation checklist (opens in a new tab) with your project team. Complete the required drilling and plumbing before installation; Natura technicians do not drill the tower opening.
Can I lease the D5U instead of purchasing it?
Yes. The D5U is part of Natura’s leasing program. Visit Natura leasing to explore the program, or request a quote for your location and requirements. Confirm availability and applicable terms with Natura.
What warranty and support are available?
