1. Water Supply *

1.1 Water supply shut-off valve that can adapt to a 3/8" compression fitting within 5 ft (1.5 m) of the machine location. 1.2 Shutoff valve that will only be used for the Natura unit. Espresso machines, coffee makers, ice machines, etc. cannot be attached to the same shut-off valve. These lines must be solely used for the Natura Water system. 1.3 Maximum inlet water temperature of 75°F (24°C). A high inlet water temperature will affect chilled water capacity. 1.4 Minimum inlet water flow rate of 2.2 gallons/min. 1.5 Water pressure range: 45 PSI – 120 PSI.

2. Dedicated CO₂ + Electrical Supply *

2.1 Dedicated CO₂ canister on-site within 5 ft of machine location (standard tanks are 5–50 lbs UN1013 Food Grade gas). 2.2 Electrical supply available within 5 ft of machine location.

3. For Bulk CO₂ Connection Only (to be hooked up by CO₂ supplier)

3.1 Dedicated CO₂ connection line from the bulk CO₂ canister requires the bulk tank to have a dedicated CO₂ regulator. 3.2 Dedicated CO₂ connection line from bulk CO₂ canister requires a different regulator (NOT SUPPLIED BY NATURA) within 5 ft of the machine location. 3.3 Dedicated CO₂ connection line from bulk CO₂ canister requires a minimum pressure rating of 100 PSI. 3.4 Dedicated CO₂ connection line from bulk CO₂ canister requires the pressure regulator set at 60 PSI. Setting higher than 60 PSI will damage the unit and void the warranty. At least one CO₂ supply option (cylinder or bulk) must be verified.

4. Machine Location Requirements *

4.1 Sufficient space for CO₂ canister. Note: Canister is approx. 28.0" (71.12 cm) tall and takes up a floor area of 12.0" × 12.0" (30.48 cm × 30.48 cm). 4.2 Sufficient space for upright filter kit assembly. Note: Filter assembly dimension is 20.0" × 16.0" × 6.0" (50.8 cm × 40.64 cm × 15.24 cm). 4.3 Place the unit in an appropriate location with sufficient distance from other heat sources, adequate air circulation, and on a flat, level surface able to support the 55 lb (BSU) or 75 lb (DSU) weight of the unit. 4.4 Locate the unit within 10 ft of a dedicated water supply. 4.5 Locate the filter assembly within 5 ft of the unit. 4.6 Maintain at least 6.0" of clearance on both sides of the unit and 2.0" of clearance in front and back for proper ventilation (CO₂ canister and filter kit assembly should be factored into clearances). 4.7 Provide ventilated cabinet doors and side panels to allow fresh air to enter the condenser coil area and exhaust air to escape the area. 4.8 Allow a minimum of 14.0" (35.56 cm) above the unit for removing the top to perform routine maintenance and checking of the water in the reservoir during preventative maintenance visits. 4.9 Hole drilled to fit the tower system: 2 Tap Tower – 1.5" (3.81 cm); 3 Tap Tower – 2.0" (5.08 cm).
